- I was initially excited when the 40 Foot opened in Dun Laoghaire for what better location to go to for a pint. However after only two visits I will never set foot (excuse the pun) inside the doors again. On both occasions five minutes after last orders were served the doors were flung open to allow the freezing night air in and customers were rudely told to drink up and leave. The staff are young and some don't speak English very well and it was pretty obvious that they all had better things to do than serve their customers. If you like rude people shouting at you this is the place to go.

- I concur with Jean. A perfectly good pub located in a better then perfect location, employing perfectly good lepers. It's a joke, why set up such a good pub then ruin it with such a let down of managment pretentiousness. This bar has more then enough potential but never use it as an ending point for your night, you'll be horribly disappointed.
