From Michelle Good morning, I hope this finds you well! Can you please give me the phone number, fax number and e-mail of The Lotts Café Bar? Thank you for your help.
From Sabine Hi Dublin, I need a bit of a help : we are going back to Dublin for the second week-end in February (11th February). I want to throw a surprise party and I am looking for a pub (in town if possible) which could welcome us and rent us a room within the pub, with a bar and which could do some finger food. I am in France at the moment and it is very difficult to look for something from here. Would you be able to give me a hand with some addresses and with some range of prices please ???? I have heard of the pub (O'Dwyer's) - not sure of the spelling - previously it was known as "The long hall". Thank you so much for keeping me informed ASAP as I am afraid not to find anything at all. Thank you very much.
From Grahame Have had a quick glance at you webiste and I must say it is very good!
I have a couple of questions though.
1. Are there any other beers besides Guinness (not lagers)
2. On one or two reviews you say the beer is expensive. What is the range I should expect to pay for a pint of Guiness or a pint of lager or pint of other beer?
From Mary Morning, I'm looking for somewhere for a group of us (probably about 8-10) to stay from Thursday 16- Sunday 19 March this year... Now I know because of our incredibly poor planning there's probably no where decent in Dublin to stay as it's St Patrick's Day- but I was wondering if you could suggest anywhere.
The only place I've found so far is the travel lodge in Castleknock - is that miles away from the town centre?
Please help - I need something to look forward too, and drunkenness in Ireland sounds perfect! ;o)
From Will I'm looking for a pub in Dublin which has large screen tellys (ideally in a separate events room) and NASN. I run a social group for North Americans in Ireland and I'm planning to host a Superbowl party. I'm not in Dublin right now and I'm having a bit of trouble narrowing all the choices down based on the extensive list of pubs on your site. Could you send me a short list of possible locations to contact? Any help would be appreciated.

From Caroline Hi wonder could you help me i'm looking for a venue for a 30th birhtday bash for about 50-70 people, (for a fri or sat night in May) maybe somewhere with a function room or separate bar area you could reserve... The closer to the Naas road the better as half the invitees would be coming from Laois! Any info appreciated
From Ken I found your website today and I think it's great! I like your spill about bouncers or pillars as I call them! I'm not really a heavy drinker but I love going out on the town. My favourite place is temple bar.
I have a very funny story about the Turks head chop house in Dublin. Myself and my friends where out in Tallaght one Sunday night there was 12 of us, and every bar we tried they wouldn't let us in! We tried going up in two's four's all at once nothing worked! So we hopped on a bus into the city and headed to the chop house as I call it.
When we go to the door the bouncer (A hugh Russian guy) said "step to the side" I took that to be "not tonight lad's!" I asked to see the manager and within 5 mins sure enough a lad popped his head out the door. I asked him could I have 2 mins of his time and asked why we couldn't get in. He told me it was because there where 12 of us.
So I told him that we had just come from a football match and that we where the Irish youth team, I explained that we had been playing in the Irish cup that day and that all we wanted to do was have a few drinks and be merry after our win.
He pushed opened the door, brought us in and told the bar staff to look after us all night! All night long people (mostly girls) were coming up asking for our autographs! Great night & great pub!
Drinkers 1 Bouncers 0
Cheers!
Ps: Since then I have become a bit of a blagger and everyone always gets me to go up to the door first! When we get refused

From Gary Hi – great website! I wonder if you can help me please? A group of us are coming to Dublin on 4th February to watch the Ireland v Italy rugby match. Can you recommend a pub/bar/club s for the Saturday night which a) is good fun, b) we can book a table for some grub in the evening and c) is not going to have a problem with 12 South African lads on the piss. I’ve heard that Dublin has become a bit fussy with letting guys into places, so I want to organise things in advance to avoid us roaming around the streets only to end up in a ropy pub without any atmosphere etc… Any assistance would be extremely gratefully received!

From Tom My wife, three grown children and myself will be coming to Ireland for the first time in April; we are very excited! Staggering the trip boys over alone, girls later and three day together and using airline miles we planned to be in Dublin for 2 days, April 14 and 15th. I realize now that the 14th is Good Friday. Are all the pubs closed on that day? All the tourist attractions? Will they reopen on Saturday?
We'll be using your site to help plan the rest of our visit as well............thanks for your help
From Gary Hey guys, Just wondering if you could help. I used to work in the Bridge Bar on Westmoreland St. and have lost contact with the guys there since I moved to New Zealand about a year ago. Have searched the net but could'nt find an email for the pub itself. If you know of one it would be great.
From Catherine I am looking for the name of the pub that is located near the corner of Adsill's Row and Wellington/Ashton Quay near the Ha' Penny Bridge. The outside of the pub has a Caffrey's sign or two. Inside it was a nice quaint pub with several large tvs to view hurling, but overall a small pub. We enjoyed the pub on our last night in Dublin and I wanted to write it in my journal. Any idea of the name?
From Rosa I am trying to get the phone number and address details for a pub in Dublin, but am having no luck finding anything on the net. Its a pub in Dublin 2 Fenian st called The Gingerbread Man. If you could provide me with these details it would be appreciated.
From Jane I am organising a 30th Birthday party for my boyfriend but i live in England and have no idea about the pubs in Dublin which have Function Rooms. I need a Function Room which holds maximum 100 near the Templeogue area. Is it possible you could let me know a few names of pubs which have this facility.
